Kick-Ass 2 - Mark Millar
A great series continues in this second installment. Everything is bigger, better and more shocking as the escalation of power and anger towards both sides - heroes and villains - turns good deeds into a lock down on the city as many lives on both sides are lost or altered forever. A logical, albeit brutal, evolution from the events of the original story, we also get a good look at what the main characters are made of as they decide whether to give in to their darker desires or try to assimilate into civilian life. What it means to be a super hero - or villain - is also a major bone of contention as it soon becomes much more than a personal question for every person on both sides of the war.

Hit Girl is easily the best, coolest underage female character in all of graphic literature, but I suppose that, in all likelihood, you already knew that.
